We also train in Tuidi (Tuite), a native Okinawan system of traps, joint locks, and pressure point strikes that can stop an attack and control an opponent. We practice tuidi against punches, grabs, kicks, and attacks with various weapons. Tuidi allows smaller people to effectively defend themselves against larger, stronger opponents, or against multiple attackers.
